Tour Details

Sharjah is the third largest Emirate in the United Arab Emirates, and reaches from the the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Oman, which is why it has the name "Pearl of the Gulf." This guided tour of Sharjah will highlight Islamic and Arab history and cultural sites.

The Sharjah Emirate tour will begin with a photo stop at the magnificent Al Noor Mosque on Al Buhaira Corniche. You will visit the King Faisal Mosque, the largest mosque in Sharjah and home to 7,000 books on Islamic history. Your Sharjah city tour will continue to the Islamic Civilization Museum. This huge museum holds several galleries dedicated to ancient Arab history. Each gallery contains ancient artifacts of the Muslim world, celebrating its vibrant history and heritage.

After the museum you will travel to Sharjah's Old Town. There, you will visit the old Arab market known as the Souk Al Arsa. This restored market features many vibrant spices and other Sharjah products. Your next stop is the Sharjah Heritage Museum, which will give you a glimpse of a traditional family home and typical Arabian Gulf architecture. If you didn't find what you were looking for in the Souk Al Arsa, don't worry; you'll also visit the Souk Al Markazi, which has even more to offer, including beautiful carpets, jewelry, and handicrafts. This Pearl of the Gulf Tour is a UAE tour that will affiliate you with the best of Arab culture, history, and architecture.
