Once you’ve had your fill of history, continue toward downtown Honolulu for a closer look at the city’s famous structures and natural wonders. Book your Pearl Harbor tour today for a memorable morning of sightseeing.
Your Honolulu city tour begins with a stop at the famous USS Arizona Memorial. This memorial, built over the wreckage of the sunken battleship, features interactive exhibits to help educate visitors about the notorious attack on Pearl Harbor. The USS Arizona was a casualty of the battle; the ship was sunk, resulting in the deaths of more than 1,000 crewmen. You’ll also see the Punchbowl National Cemetery, a notable burial site for members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Following your trip to these memorial sites, you will continue to downtown Honolulu. Once there, you’ll ride through the streets and see many important landmarks, including Ionali Palace. It is the only royal palace in the U.S. that has ever been used as an official residence by a monarch. Since 1978, it has served as a museum that showcases artifacts such as royal regalia and the Hawaiian crown jewels. Other landmarks you’ll encounter during your Honolulu tour include the Kawaiahao Church, Honolulu City Hall, and the State Capital, before you will be returned to your hotel.
