Tour Details

Begin your day with a short flight to Maui. Discover the beauty of Maui on this scenic tour across the island. This Hawaii tour will take you through the islandís many forests, valleys, volcanoes, and other natural wonders. For breathtaking views and a taste of local culture, this Maui tour will not disappoint. Throw on some comfortable shoes, grab your camera, and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime!

Head on over to Haleakala National Park to view the world-famous Haleakala crater. This massive hole is seven miles across and roughly 2,600 feet deep; the park is also home to more endangered species than any other U.S. national park. Youíll visit the spectacular volcanic crater, Mt. Haleakala, which in Hawaiian means "House of the Rising Sun." At an altitude of 10,023 feet, you are literally above the clouds. Youíll even be able to see Mauna Loa volcano on the neighboring Big Island.

Then you're off to Iao Valley, where King Kamehameha defeated Mauiís army. The Iao Needle is a lava remnant that gets its name from its appearance; itís not actually shaped like a needle Ė the remnantís sharp ridge just makes it look like one. Take a break from Mauiís natural wonders and explore Lahaina, where you can check out the art galleries and grab a bite of traditional island cuisine at one of the townís many restaurants and cafes.

Donít pass up the opportunity to travel through this island. Its extensive history and stunning sights make a must-see on your Hawaii trip. Book your Maui trip today for an unforgettable time on the island.

Please Note: The Iao Valley State Monument will be closed from October 16th to December 16th while a slope stabilization project takes place in response to flood damage. During this time, Iao Valley will be replaced by a visit to the Maui Tropical Plantation. All guests must bring a valid ID for airport security check-in. International guests must bring a valid passport for airport security check-in. Smoking is not permitted in the National Park.
