Tour Details

Take a day trip from Dublin to tour Giant's Causeway. This natural wonder and World Heritage site is an interlocking formation of 40,000 basalt columns rising from the sea as a result of volcanic eruptions years ago.

Your journey begins once you meet your guide and fellow travelers for the day tour at the Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk Street. Embark on our spacious bus heading north out of the city. Enjoy the journey to Northern Ireland with your knowledgeable and entertaining local guide.

Next stop is to the Dark Hedges. A photographer's dream location is Dark Hedges, home to a beautiful avenue of beech trees. Visitors will have an experience of being transported into another world as they stroll beneath arching trees that create natural tunnels while fully admiring nature's majestic splendor, which is depicted on Game of Thrones as Kings Road. Bring your camera with you so you can capture these lifetime memories at Dark Hedges, which is about 30 minutes from Giants Causeway for simple day trips!

As you proceed on your journey, there will be breath-taking views of Whiteparks Bay and Portbradden along the way. Before venturing onto the legendary Causeway we will stop for lunch (not included). This impressive natural wonder, which is made up of almost 40,000 hexagonally arranged basalt columns and was created by volcanic activity more than 60 million years ago, stands boldly against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean cliffs and breathtaking ocean views. Spend some time during the tour enjoying a leisurely stroll along these gorgeous cliffs; it's simply amazing. As you stroll along these magnificent natural features, take in the grandeur of Giant's Boot and Chimney Stacks and learn about legends linked to Finn McCool. After, ascend a hill for beautiful panoramic views before returning back down to "Organ."

On to Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, which is home to many amazing landmarks. You can use your free time to explore the city's center, which includes the opera house, city hall, and Crown Pub, or you can take a political taxi tour of West Belfast to see the peace wall and many of the flashpoints of the country's political unrest. (the taxi tour is not included and is £15 per person in sterling)

Return to Dublin with a wealth of tales, special moments, and breathtaking images to share!
