The Savannah tour provides an in-depth look at the city’s role in the Civil War with a focus on the notable General William T. Sherman. Throw on some comfortable shoes, bring a camera and join us on this fun adventure through Savannah!

On this Savannah Civil War tour, you’ll be led by a knowledgeable guide who will share some little-known facts about the Hostess City as well as the Civil War. During the war, General T. Sherman of the Union Army led a devastating campaign toward Savannah but unlike the other cities he torched along the way – including Atlanta – he spared Savannah. Aside from hearing stories about the general’s campaign, you’ll get to see some of the mansions that the Union Army occupied during the war.

Whether you’re a tourist or a local, there’s something for everyone on this adventure. Your Savannah history tour includes a stop at a local café for refreshments. Tour runs rain or shine. Well-behaved leashed pets are allowed in the tour, but they are not allowed inside of any buildings.
