Enjoy another brief stroll on your Florence walking tour before stopping at Piazza Signoria. Formerly Florence's City Hall, it is now used as a museum of art. Piazza Signoria features The Loggia del Lanzi, a beautiful arched gallery that was built in the 14th century and features open-air statues, the most notable being a statue showing Perseus after he killed Medusa. Finally, visit the Uffizi Gallery that contains quite simply the world's finest collection of Renaissance art. Your tour concludes in front of the Palazzo Vecchio. Stay and enjoy the early evening's street performers. Performances can range from violin duets to people dressed as sculptures.
